hi all.
well its as the topic says really im wondering how much difference a set of handle bar risers would make to my zzr1100 d2 as im a large guy and i get some pain in my wrists.
everyone is saying go get some risers that will sort it but none of them ride my style of bike.
1 of em even rides a harley so ill ignore him lol.
anyone had any experience of em on a zzr ??

Well I'm with you, curious as to how good they are.
One of my friends has the same bike with risers on, so hoping to swap bikes soon to see what difference it makes.
When we get round to it will let you know what I think.
Damned expensive for the risers though.

Had a short ride on my mates bike today, need a longer run to make up my mind, but initial feeling is a slight improvement me thinks.
Funny thing is my mate is wanting to try mine out as he thinks that he may be more comfortable without the risers.

Hi, long time since last reply.
Went out for a longer run on Sunday, we swapped bikes.
I would have to say that in my opinion they were a slight improvement over the standard bars, so will be looking at fitting a set, maybe even off my mate if he decides doesn't want them.

Strange how the 2 bikes the same seem so different to ride, tyres apart that is.

The only plate have managed to find so far is the LSL at £177 plus p&p from Germany, so not so cheap, over £200 when purchase bars as well.

Have just ordered a Vario screen, so hoping that gives some comfort in the way of quieter and less buffeting.

Looked at the LSL conversion but a tad expensive so will probably go with others have seen.

HELLO ALL, iF ANYONE ELSE HAS SOME FOR SALE, I WANT SOME RISERS FOR MY 1100, 1996, d4. OH, AND A HIGHER SCREEN TOO. GENMAR, GILLES OR HELIBARS SHOULD BE OK, I THINK.
ANY COMMENTS ON THE DIFFERENCES WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

THANKS , DAVE.
