Hi all,
as much as I love my little 650, I want it (quite abit) louder :)
What would people recommend? Ive looked at the usual suspects, but there all quite expensive.
Im fine with a second hand one aswell.

I weighed up the pros and cons for my bike and ended up going with the Scorpion. I've now had it for about 3 years and would still buy it again and must say it's well put together with a very nice sound. If money was no object I'd get a Laser x-treme can but they're just too much!

Hi
Looking to put a Scorpion can on my ER6F are they easy to fit i.e. is there anything on the bike that would require garage to do from a computerised point of view?

Well I bought it off ebay Thursday afteroon not expecting it to be delivered until late this week, turned up friday morning!

So fitted it friday night, took about 45 mins, no instructions in the box but very straight forward, unscrew the sensor off the old exhaust fit it to the new supplied link pipe and thats really about the hardest bit! line it all up and use the supplied hanger etc, got it how i wanted it then tightened everything up.

The pipe seems very good quality, no worse than anything else i have ever had, i do worry about the stainless lasting with the pipe in the location it is but we will have to wait and see i guess, a hell of a lot lighter than the stock item.

Now for the sound, well all i can say is its addictive, my bike only had 70 odd miles on the clock when i put it on friday so i am TRYING to run it in gently but now failing miserably! went out for a ride in the cold after i fitted it and it has transformed the bike IMO. Mine was a little lumpy under 4-5k rpm which i put down to it being brand new etc, not anymore, its clean and revs alot crisper than before and the sound is fantastic (baffle still in) i find it very hard to believe this thing is road legal, but it does have a BS stamp on it so that should shut the coppers up should they want to moan about it.

to sum up, if your thinking about it, stop thinking about it and buy it £165 delivered if you buy from ebay (is £12 more expensive if bought direct from MTC as they charge you postage, ebay its free postage!)

Very glad i went with it, was looking at the scorpion and others but this is fantastic for the money.

yep, but will have to wait, im in Italy for the next few days for work (am there now!) so will take a pic when i get back.
It looks better than some, comes out at around the same place as stock but the outlet definetly sticks out further. if you look on youtube there are videos of it fitted to the newer er6n

Thanks for the write up.
Sounds a great bit if kit, the only thing holding me back is the looks, as the eBay picture makes it look a bit naff on the old bike.
