my zephyr 1100 1995 suffers from clunky gear changes once the engine warms up and the hotter the engine the worse it gets.It has 25000 on the clock.Any ideas anyone?

ps it has fully synthetic oil.

your running fully sinth if it has always from new run on fully sinth then i dont know
but if you have changed to full sinth then hay presto there is your problem :256
you cant mix the 2 it will cause more problems than the clutch
as time go's buy it will clog all your oil ways too
i wish these stores that sell the oil would ask before selling it semi is ok not full

Thanks for that. The previous owner told me he had put fully synth in just before I bought it 2 weeks ago.He only had the bike a couple of months so he probably didnt know what was used before.Replacing with semi synth should be all thats needed I suppose.Or would I need to flush the engine?

if you are lucky enough flush the engine and put semi
if you can take the clutch apart then wipe the parts down soak them in fresh oil
get the engine warm before you drain the oil and if possible leave it drain over night
