Firstly just to say Hi and heres my first post here. It Lives linky dink http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ssgbd-frJAs So the work is underway and ongoing,I wondered if the chain was salvageable and had it soaking in diesel for a week! but its shot (530 pitch 104 links anyone? rolleyes.gif Most all the things removed so far have come off pretty easily, sprayed a few particularly rusty nuts with release oil first. I am wondering whether or not to get parts re chromed or look for second hand . I have the swing arm out and the needle roller bearings seem fine, just a clean up and polish! I bought a polishing kit for the alloy and there is plenty to do on it. I reckon the engine out next and away for rings or rebore,Back end rebuild then start on the front!! Does anyone have a good/decent pair of shocks with 13 inch (330 mm) centres? Just spent 30 minutes loading pics to Flickr, now it says its no longer possible to paste pics but to redirect to Flickr itself!
