I have a 1991 zzr 400 k1 it hadn,t run for 8 years due to seized piston due water damage. Fitted pistons/barrels as well cleaning carbs set pilot screws two turns out, and fitted new plugs. Also flushed fuel tank clean and checked operation of pet cock. There is a good spark on all four plug but the only way it will fire up is with the use of easy start sprayed in the air box and wind it over its like fuel starvation. Once running it runs perfect steady tickover and revs with no misses or back fires. Turn it off try to restart and you are back to using easy start again. Has anybody got any ideas of whats causing this? Cheers Churchy |
