After about 50 miles on my Vulcan 2000, my butt is asleep. I tried a gel cushion but, did not have good results. Has anyone with this problem actually replaced their oem bike seat with an after market seat that actually worked for trips? |

hi, this a while since you posted your question about vn2000 seats but I hope it helps. Change your seats by all means, the originals are ridiculously hard, but stay away from the Kawasaki touring seats they are virtually no better. The longest I can last on them, is one hour and then need a good rest before ridding again (approx. half an hour). It realy does spoil a great bike, not to mention a great waste of money. |
