Not good, he's got that for the rest of his life. We all know the dangers though, that's why i'm sticking to the track for my quick riding.

i sorry but those speeds are meant for the racetrack not for the road that was one unlucky guy his own fault but at that speed he had no chance to avoid that crash i have done some funerals for bikers that have been killed on the road with my old job motorcycle funerals its not a nice thing to do when your a biker yourself and have to take a person for a final ride to there own funeral as it goes the video says it all

Bug-ger It's this that keeps my speed right on the road. Like others I will keep my speed for the track!

I watched this when it was first put on the news after the trial. All it did was make me sad. It's the rest of both families I feel for.
As long as there are bikes, riders will do these things but IMHO it was a stupid overtake and he'd still be alive today if he'd thought about it, planned it and waited to see what the car would do. It's not like he was on a 125 and he'd lose much by waiting.. I spend a lot of time on track each year and it means when I ride on the road it's all out of my system. AND I get to keep my licence..
Hope all that doesn't sound hypocritical. It's not meant to, and there's no feeling like getting the best from a bike whether on road or track, but there's a time and place for everything on a bike and recognising that keeps us alive and the politicians from banning them..

I've done now. :D
