Hey Mammoth, forgot about this forum. Here's my MC1-B. My 1st bike in the 70's was a yellow with green stripe KM90 so I bought this to restore. However I think you may have a bit more work to do. :D

If you can update your thread with any progress I'd be interested to see how it goes. :pjy

Hi flat spot your KM looks very nice!! hope i can acheave that, aint been doin much at mine for a while up until now. Last year i striped the engine down to replace the crank bearings as they sounded a bit dry, when it was fully stripped i was told by a friend to soak the casings in a degreasant which i did but knot knowing i had got the wrong stuff totally reacted with the alloy turning them very black. nightmare!! lol so desided to get them shot blasted and thats where im upto now just in the process rebuildin it new bearings and seals, outer casings n' head will be sprayed silver to match and the barrel black here's a pic of the bench full of bits iv'e got at the min.

Oh ohhh. All is not lost it seems. Good luck with the build. I haven't touched mine yet, but I've managed to source a few juicy parts from the U.S.

Keep us updated.
