Hi all. newb here. Have a issue with my 2 week old z750s .This started on sat after a 50 mile ride. Stopped for a bit and went to ride home, i turned the igniton sw on and the fi light stayed on. I ended up riding home like that. Amyways after i got home i shut the bike off and tried again the light was gone. This morning same thing, but after it goes through the check i noticed a buzzing sound from the servo right next to the idle adj knob. I tried turning sw on and off several times and it cleaed. Sane thing coming home, i can now tell if the light will stay on by the sund from the servo. If makes noise the fi light wil stay on. I was looking at the manual and from what i can tell i may end up replacing the throttle body. If so this will be a 1500.00 repair. Anyone experience this and if so what was the remedy?? Bought it used form a dealer, so no warranty. Did self diag and get seven long one short, is the code 71?? |

Even if you bought it used from a dealer, you still have a warrenty under the sale of goods act I`d go back to the dealer and complain, after all it is ridiculous to be having probs after 2 weeks |

Hi, I agree with Lanny on this one, also if you paid by credit card they retain deed of title which means they become the supplier so if you did pay this way, contact them and they will deal with the matter. failing that take advice from trading standards who will also pursue the matter for you. However if you are rejecting the bike under the sale of goods act, you must notify the dealer immediately and stop using the bike. Good luck. |

From Brittmotorsports in NC. I live about 200 miles away and trailered it back. I've been in contact with them and they are seeing what they can do. |

Ah,if you're in the States then I don't know how you stand,as we all quoted the sale of goods act here in the UK. Hope you get it sorted out to your satisfaction. |

ok opened up airfilter and the subthrottles move when i turn the igniton on, but there is a odd sound that come from the actuator when this happens. And that's where the FI light comes on. Thinking the actuator is bad. If this is the cae can the bike be run. There is no warranty and the fix is to replace throttle body, which is at least a 1200. repair minimal. |

Hi, I owned a Toyota Celice on which the engine management light was nearly always on saying the cat was faulty, a 900 quid fix, It kept passing its MOT as it was only a faulty but not replaceable sensor. Therefore I would ask the dealer for a refund and if he wont but the bike runs ok disconnect the bulb. But if it blows up I didnt suggest this. |
