I have a 2006 KLX. It has only done 1300k's and recently the thottle has started to stick on occasion. Any ideas on how to remedy this would be appreciated.

Hi Sticky throttle eh? OK, Firstly check the throttle cable(s) to make they aren't snagging between tank and frame. . If neccessary remove the cable and oil it or replace it if the cable(s) are frayed, in the handgrip and the carb ends, or badly kinked between handle bars and carb. If it persists, thake out the slider from the carb and check and clean, then replace it into position. Do not move or change the brass screw where the cable runs through, at the top of the carb. and note the needle setting for if you have do the cable. any more probs, let us know Si ![]()
