blindspot

 by rampa
i have replaced the plugs & coils of a good running kawasaki gpx 750 onto my kwack gpx 750 as i had a miss on mine and thought it was this problem but it still is the same , i have a blind spot on mine when i open the throttle as it seems to loose power but it picks up if i open the throttle more ,it runs fine on tick over & does not hunt its just this blind spot when i open it up , i thought it could be fuel starvation but was told it would do it all the time if that was it so any advise on what it could be would be most gratefully exepted before i end up hitting it with something hard lol.

GPX 750 main jets

 by Biter Steve
hi, im having some trouble getting the jetting right on my GPX 750. i have a custom straight through exhaust and individual pod air filters, the original jets are 112 and i replaced them with 135 as that's what i was told should be about right, it did make a huge improvement but its still not there yet. i will be buying a dynojet kit when funds permit but for now, has anyone got the same setup or know what size i need? thanks :)

kz650/750 heads

 by huttyzx7
hi all, busy redoing a uncle bunt framed chop with a '81kz750 engine, its my first real engine rebuild/mess around and she seems to have had a busy life from the little things I'm finding and am currently fitting 2 new valve guides and valves, full gasket change etc.. Finding bits for this lovely engine is a bit like hens teeth and am informed that the kz650 head is the same as the 750 and can be used on either engine. Is this true? this would obviously increase my chances of getting spare parts etc.
cheers all :999

Starting bike

 by hugojose
What does the bike exactly do or does not do, and what do you call the 'starter'. I assume it is a 750 four.

Power goes to the Relay, then to the Starter Motor. The Starter Motor spins the Starter Clutch and this the crankshaft,

If bike does nothing, 'nada' then it could be electrical; bad battery, loose cable, bad relay, or starter motor, and in this case, fixiing would be rather easy. If if sounds like marbles but does not crank, then it is the starter clutch and this is very involved to replace.

750 history

 by Hollowpoint
I've been aware that big K made a 750 twin and a four in the early 80's. I have seen side-by-side photos of each from 1980 and both were badged KZ750. That's how they were known in the US. I'm interested in knowing how this confusion came about. Furthermore, was the twin any good? I appeal to the experts.

grtz from belgium

 by tiontje
Hi,
let me introduce myself: I am Anthony and just bought my first motorcycle. A Kawasaki GPZ 750 Ninja from 1989.

I just have a question about the turn lights.
When i bought him (verry cheap) the turn signals where not working. After a little search i discovered the turnsingnal relais.

Today i whent to a motorshop and bought a new 1.

The weird thing is that my turn signals work now :711
but they d'ont turn on,off,on,off,on,off like they should do as you want to turn.
Anybody got an idea? on how that comes?

hope to hear from toy soon, and we will spend a lot of time on this site.

Grtz
ps. sorry if my english is not perfect :599

getting rare

 by hugojose
There are more than that. In the Zephyr Forum there are many owners. It sold for at least 3 years. A3 only means is a '94. There are a few because the Zeph 1100 did not make it in the US market. It was too close in price to the ZX11 in those days, and ultimately the Suzuki Bandit 1200 was newer, lighter, less expensive, and had more power.

I have a 750 Zeph which sold for even less year than the 1100. To me is a semiantique, but don't expect it to become ever a valuable collective (nor I care). The GPZs or original Z1s would always be the desirable ones as collectives. But hang on to it, who knows.

:D I just bought a 1979 KZ 750 B4 (Twin) it is absolutely beautiful, Blue in color ...has 250 original miles- the story is that the owner bought it, dropped it causing very minor damage (broken clutch lever, and small area of missing paint on L side of tank with no dents). This bike still has the break in instructions on the Tach- this is as near to brand new as anyone could find- what is you opinion on the value? I'm thinking about re selling it on E-Bay
use it!!!! or some one will buy it fix it and put it away :gzs

hi there, i have a zzr1100 which i have re-built and posted the pics on here, i have enjoyed doing this project after being off bikes since 1982 however i now have the urge to get another project underway and i have wanted to locate my old 750 suzuki, my problem is that i have certain amount of data for the machine but this is the question : How can i locate the current owner ????? i know that the dvla cannot give out this info due to data protection act, the only info i do have is that i sold the bike in 1982 and it was re-sold again in 1998, the bike is not scrapped and does not have any current insurance on it, the reg is TMA502V SUZUKI GSX750 hopefully some-one can help me with this pursuit .
If any-one does have info then i can be contacted via email on shoozy@live.com

Hi, You might try lokking for a club/forum for this bike, and putting a post on there, to see if it's sitting in the back of someone's garage, awaiting restro... I did find out that is is red (i don't know if it was when you had it) But that would be your best bet.

Or you could try an add on Ebay, selling a dust cap fro a suzuki gsx750, and then say your looking for your old bike.
