Title: My ER-6n with twin round headlights
monkeyseemonkeydo - March 2, 2007 11:07 PM (GMT)
Posted elsewhere but here's my ride. Comments welcome! Got it new last September and now done about 4500 miles. Love it! Droopy 'Style' mirrors, Powerbronze rear hugger, drag bars and dominator twin headlights... so far.

Comments welcome!

i like those lights and your colours, your thought about changing more of the silver to gold, look s great

Cheers dude. Have now fitted a set of Oberon bar end mirrors which tidy the front end up a treat. Will get a pic up when I get the chance.

Am back to the stock headlight- still can't decide what I prefer (compared to the twin rounds). Also have the chrome finish drag bars and Oberon bar end mirrors.

Got bored the other day so decided to cut down the stock fender a bit. Could do with a bit of a tidy up but looks better I think...

Comments welcome!

now i'm wondering where you got your inspiration from :D

no seriously looks sweet
monkeyseemonkeydo - May 2, 2007 09:37 PM (GMT)
Hahah, cheers for that! I guess the ER-n is a 'love it or hate it' bike. I'm stil not 100% myself!! Somedays I love the way it looks, others I feel like tweaking it a bit. Going to paint the belly pan gloss black to match the body next...

GO BACK TO THE TWIN SPOTS...THE ORIGINAL LIGHT UNIT IS 'KIN UGLY.
SORRY DAVE. :dzq

Yeah, think I agree, had forgotten what the bike looked like with the stock unit on though! Will put the twin's back on tomorrow I think... Along with painting the belly pan gloss black instead of the satin black I sprayed it before... I'm never happy!!

Well I've now painted the bellypan gloss black. The 'high build' primer wasn't as high build as I hoped but with a couple of coats of lacquer it looks ok. Have got the twin spots back on now and am planning buying a Scorpion can on Tuesday too... Any idea where the cheapest is? I've found £195 from seasidesuperbikes.co.uk but will try Demon tweeks and a few others on Tuesday.

Update:
Well, finally got round to fitting a few new bits and pieces so here are some pics for you to peruse... Upgrade list as follows: Powerbronze rear hugger, Scorpion SS can, painted bellypan, chrome drag bars, Oberon bar end mirrors, R&G crash protectors, slightly cut down fender and dominator style dual headlights.

Comments welcome :D

lol, cheers Doug! I'd quite like to remount the clocks on the tank like on the LSL bike to clean up the front end a bit more but not sure if that'd work... The other option is to get something like this

and maybe modify it slightly to make it a bit more aggressive and more like a Speed Triple flyscreen...

opinions?

THE SECOND PIC,DAVE. :pwq
monkeyseemonkeydo - June 9, 2007 09:26 PM (GMT)
I would if only those triumph flyscreens didn't cost £150 (£225 for the carbon one there...)!!! Silly money if you ask me... The Puig one is about £75 but I doubt whether I could mod it to make it look like a triumph one.

Really like the mods you've made there. I haven't even got my ER6n yet but you've already got me thinking!
monkeyseemonkeydo - June 27, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
Cheers for posting the updated pic Wizz :)
Has undergone minor changes since that- mainly lowering both the lights and instruments a little to improve the lines.
NINJAFISH - July 4, 2008 08:45 PM (GMT)
in fairness its not my cup of tea (no offence) but looks a hell of a lot better with the twins on.
