I'm JC (from South Africa) and the proud owner of an black & red ER6F (Ninja650R) and loving it. Got it end October 2007 and already have 8000km (5000miles) on the clock. I'm a daily commuter doing about 130km per day.
Know about the buzz, fixed it (sort off but waiting for the Kwak factory kit). Fitted a Givi 29 liter topbox (made the bracket myself as I believe 100UK pounds is to expensive (ex postage)). Also fitted V-Strom handguards (for the chill on wet gloves!).
Next mods 1) heated grips and 2) yellow driving lights (for the approaching winter months)!
Average consumption so far:- 21.5km/l with a top (clocked) speed of 192km/h!
