hi can anyone help me with an electrical prob i have just bought a 1993 zr550-b3 and cant get it to start, when i push the starter button the engine turns over no problem but i only get one spark at the plug and that is verry weak.i bought a secondhand cdi unit from a breakers but still have the same symptoms any ideas

I've not got a manual for that model, but I can take a guess looking at my ZX manual, Try the pick up on the crank, if that isn't the problem try the Ignitor unit (or is that what you called the cdi)
To affect all four plugs the problem seems to between there and the power to them, check all connections and clean them, it might be that simple.
