Title: Power Commander & Pipe for 05 ZX6R

I was just wanting to know if the power commander and a slip on or full exhaust system made a big difference to an 05 Ninja ZX-6R. Is the difference enough to spend the money on it, and what about gas consumption between stock bike and a bike that has the add-ons. Thanks

I HAVE ADDED A POWER COMMANDER TO MY BIG OVERWEIGHT HARLEY ROAD KING . I WAS REASONABLY SATISIFIED BY THE PERFORMANCE GAIN , IT DID NOT MAKE IT A ROCKET,HOWEVER I just used the clostest map to my modifications and entered it . perhaps Icould have picked up a few more ponies if I had the guys at the dyno shop work on it . Iam reasonably satisified the the powr commander, it has given me no trouble , it you are looking for gas milage improvements I dont believe you will see much. fast eddie

I got the power commander for my 05 zx636 and a slip on exhaust sytem. If you are going to get a slip on exhaust you should spring for the power commander. It will help prevent you from running to rich or to lean ( If adjusted right). By the way, when buying a slip on exhaust make sure that it comes with a bracket that goes on the exhaust valve motor (located under the seat). If the kit doesn't have it, when you start up your bike than you will get a fuel injector warning light. I have only found one place that sells the bracket seperately. WWW.twobrothersracing.com its called fuel injector light fix.

The Scorpion under seat can comes with it too, so you should be able to get a spare from them as well.
