I have bought an old Z750 to renovate, it is not registered as it has been imported from Italy by another party.

After renovation, I would like to get it registered on an age related plate rather than the dreaded "Q" plate but am unable to identify its age.

The bike is a naked Z750 Four cylinder bike, Burgundy in colour, I think it is circa 1980's

Stamped on the Frame headstock is:
KZ750 E8626

Stamped on a plate also on the Frame headstock are two series of numbers:
KH1 KZ 750E
DGM 500770M

The Engine Number is:
KZ 750EE 018986 (the 0 and the 9 are not clear)

I would be grateful if any one could shine some light on my dilemma
