Hi well ive got a 98 zx6r and I get about 120 before I have to go on reserve....but it does all depend on how heavy you are on the revs... :P I do like the red line..

I've got a new 6r. It will easly do 130, being fairly aggressive, before filling up. If your carefull you could add another 25 miles on top.

I had a hornet 600 before. The most I got out of that was 150, the least was 75 :999

Ive got a zx 6r an i only manage at most 120 miles on a full tank before the reserve, mines an s reg 1998 g1 model, I fill up every 100miles just to be on the safe side :D

on my ZX12 i normally manage 130-150 before the fuel guage flashes at me! But as always depends how ham fisted i am being with it!

Hi Moxy,

I was told to fill up the tank make sure you are on fuel and not reserve, set the trip ometer and just ride it till you get the pinking feeling of running out of fuel, then flick on to reserve to get you to the nearest filling station, It's the only true way of knowing for sure, you would be surprised how bikes differ, I've got a zx7r 1998 P2, tech says should be about 42 to the gallon, mine does 45 if I ride carefully and around 34 if I caine it, so whatever your riding style or mood takes you makes a difference too, you know how you ride so you are the best judge to your own mileage.
