I'm a newbie to this site, so forgive my ignorance....I have a 2001 800 classic that I have customized with a new set of Cruzer pipes from Vance and Hines. Unfortunately, it is way too loud for me and I am looking for any suggestions on how I might be able to soften or mute the sound. I tried to add more fiberglass wrapping to the baffles, but there is no more room to do so and still get the baffles to slide back in !! I thought about drilling the stock exhaust, but I wanted some advice from some of you veterans before I do anything else. Any thoughts?????

Have you tried contacting V&H about quieter baffles....
