Title: Hi everyone

Hux - July 16, 2008 03:20 PM (GMT)
Hello everyone, just got a red 2005 Z1000 and really enjoying it after quite a few sports bikes. I've ordered a Leo Vince 2 into 1 conversion and a K+N filter to pep things up a bit, apart from a Power Commander are there any other rcognised modifications? The only other thing I'd like to change is that it tends to run a little wide in the corners, any fixes for that?

Thanks

Marc

Hi

Try a jack up kit(available on ebay for approx £18). Makes cornering faster n smoother. Depends how you ride but i did find a steering damper makes a big change. Enjoy your ride dude

Hi, the tyres were new when I got it a couple of weeks ago so no flattening yet. Fitted new tie bars and much better turn in but very very twitchy under hard acceleration now. Looks nice though :D Doing a track day at Brands next month so that should be interesting, first track day not riding a sports bike!

They are the bars or plates that link the shock absorber pivot to the swing arm, they control the ride height.
