Title: Zxr 750 H2
Description: Spares Help?

ken67 - July 13, 2008 02:08 PM (GMT)
Hi, hope some of you can help me.
Just purchased an H2 model, it needs a lot of work and spares will be req'd. Been on ebay etc. and there seems to be hell of a lot of H1 stuff there........are there significant differences between the H1 and H2 models or can i fit most of the stuff on??
The bike runs ok, it just needs some TLC (its my project).

Will be stripping it down completely and will be asking a lot of questions, no doubt, as this is my first attempt on a bike with this much work.......

Any help at all would be very much appreciated.....

I have an H1 with a haynes manual, and looking through I can't see too many differences. I'd recommend investing in one if you're doing a ot of work, as mine's been invaluabe to me, and it clearly shows the differences between all the ZXR 750 models.

Got a manual coming thru ebay over the next couple of days..........suspect the bike may be an H1.....will check the chassis no. to confirm.....

Thanks again

The carbs are different diameters between the H1 and H2, but i think they are mainly the same, also things like switchgear and some other stuff are the same in loads of different models accross the Kawasaki range.

If you are looking for parts i am breaking a ZXR750 H1, still got quite a few bits, can provide part numbers with the parts aswel if that helps,

Thanks guys, just checked out the frame and engine numbers etc........all adds up to an H1 model!!
The book does look invaluable........since i'm going for a complete strip down!!

If I need anything else, I know where to come....

Cheers
