can anybody help?
we have a kz1000 that is giving me a headache.
replaced plugs, points, condensers and coils but it still keeps going down onto 3 pots. most of the time it`s no4 that dies.
has anybody ever had this problem. if so WHAT WAS IT!!!!!!!!!!
any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Got the same fault on my Z750P5.
I've replaced the plug, HT lead, coil and igniter. I've also drained the fuel and put a fresh charge in the tank. It's still mis-firing but not as badly as it was. I've checked the carb diaphragm and it looks OK so I'm going to strip a spare set of carbs, clean and rebuild them next.
It may also be worth checking the inlet hoses from the air box to the carbs and more likely, the hose from the carb to the inlet manifold.
My guess is that on mine, at least, it may be %$£! in the carbs as it's been sat around for quite a while whilst I was rebuilding everything else.
One other thing to check, which, I haven't, is compression on that cylinder.
I hope some of this may help. Good luck!
cheers mate
