Hi
I passed my test 3 years ago did 14 miles on an apprillia red rose after a very near miss and stoped riding.
Friday I collected my first bike a 2001 Kawasaki ER-5 been out witl hubby for some confidence building but been out on my own today and im loving it.
Im off work this weekend :sza and would love to find a group to go out with any idea where I can find one?

Im in Midlands although that area seems to have dissapeared :fdq and we have been merged into either East or West Mids now Im never sure which :blink: Anyway Nuneaton near Coventry or Hinckley.

Hi Blue, I'm a member of a North West Bikers group who go for rideouts every weekend, usually into Wales. We have members who come down from Clitheroe or up from Crewe to rideout. That said, we may be a tad too far away for you, so all I can suggest is that you look at the rideout/meetings section of this Forum to see if there is a group closer to you. :055

Not figured out how to just reply to these but I went to see the local rider training school they nolonger do ride outs as they are in process of selling up but they suggested trying the local dealers as they often do them. Through them I found a ride out on Sunday 6th July leaving Hinckley 8:15 going to Hunstanton :532 dont know how far that is though as a new rider it might be a bit to much for me but they are happy for me to join :woq maybe see if hubby can get night off work ant come too.

Instead of clicking on "quote" to reply, scroll down and use the "add reply" button bottom right.
The rideout you mention is about 107 miles one way...would suggest you initially stick to 60 mile round trips at first. You could of course join them for 30 plus miles then head back home, lots of peeps do similar on rideouts because of their individual time constraints.

I did think the same about distance. Hubby said he would take me out for the day instead we just have to decide where to go
