I think, I should introduce myself.
I'm a late starter really. I've had my licence for 30 years but no bike. I only bought my first bike, a Suzuki GN250 in spring 2006.
I've bought a naked SV650 (black) 10 month ago and I was very happy with her.
I had a VN750 before that. I loved it, all that shiny chrome! I didn't like the cleaning too much, took ages each time. The weight of the VN was definitely an issue, hard work pushing it about, reversing and moving on gravel. The SV is soo much easier to handle, on the ground and riding.
A few weeks ago I saw an orange bike overtaking me on the motorway (I was in my car). I fell instantly in love but didn't quite see, what it was. After a long search on the internet, I found it, a new 2008 Z750.
I'm in the process of buying one today. I'm so exited! I'll get it hopefully on Thursday.
I live in the Lake District, is there anyone around, I could meet up with?

I'm a born again biker too and live on the Wirral but I think there are a number of members on K.O.C that live up your way. Anyway congrats on your new bike, have fun and stay safe :D
