Hi guys,

2007 1600 Meanstreak

I have developed a coolant leak from the bottom rear front cylinder, which is I am afraid getting worst. Is this a common proplem on the V twin engines? Anyway I have tried to book the bike in at 2 Kawasaki dealers in a 20 mile radius of where I live but they are unable to look at it for at least 3 weeks??????? I have contacted Kawasaki UK but so far no response from them. Typical as soon as the British weather has 2 days without rain I am left without a bike..............

It should be still covered under warrenty, Ask if there is any chance of a courtisy bike while you are waiting to get your's repaired, Worth a bash,

Ken.

If you are in the Uk you no longer have to get warranty work carried out by a Kawasaki dealer to maintain your warranty.
Any Suzuki/Honda/Yamaha etc dealer will be able to carry out warranty work on your bike without invalidating the warranty.

I have just had a e-mail back from Kawasaki Customer services, they state that any warranty repair work must be carried out by a Kawasaki Main Dealer? They also said that a several week wait for repairs at this time of year is not uncommon and that no further damage will result to my bike??????
