Hi, I have the Kawasaki screen fitted to my 07 Z750 and at higher speeds it does make a difference, although from some angles it looks a bit big.
However, i believe the smaller Z1000 screen fits the same holes so I am looking for one if anybody has one?.
I have also dumped the standard mirrors and fitted a bar end which improved the look.
Now its well and truly run in it is great fun, enjoy.

thanks i will look into that about the z1000 screen, and which mirrors did you fit?

have you fitted a belly pan and what do you think bout them? i cant make my mind up!!

whai colour did you get and i had my 1st service 300 miles ago and am lovin every min of it, but the seats are a wee bit hard so going to invest in some jelly seats i think

my dad had a 04 z1000 and swears by them!!

I fell in love with the Green and having been knocked off my last bike (Black) with the usual didnt see you, even Stevie Wonder would see this.
I am getting the single seat but I think with that, the belly pan might be too much.
Look on you tube for Z750 ,sad people from all over the world show off what they have done to their bikes.
The bar end mirrors were bought off Ebay and are just a very simple black round mirror.
Getting the original bolt out required an impact driver(not for the faint hearted near your fuel tank) and finding a bolt to fit through wasnt easy.
You also need bolts to fit in the old mirror threads as the master cylinder is held on by this.
The R & G tail tidy I fitted makes a massive difference to the looks along with a slightly smaller plate. This is a must fit in my opinion.

sounds good will deff look bout for that tail tidy!

am sure in the dealers they said thy were noy doing the z750 in green which i thought was a bit strange!!

oooo nooo dont think i will be going any where near her with a impact driver just yet haha

hope you were ok after your accident,

Hi Guys sounds like you two are upto a little bit of personalisation. I have also got the bug. Had the 07 Z750 in black but went a little to far with it. Now got the 08 model ABS in green. I searched every dealer up and down the country to get this colour. I have now heard that it is not listed any longer. How about some pictures of your bikes . I am changing a few bits hear and there but with caution. Last time was ireversable and I kicked myself for it. It just happens bu=it at a time and I did not realise that I had messed up. This time, so far I have only changed the Exhaust and mirrors and heel gaurds and I have also added a hugger. I am thinking very hard about the R&G tail tidy, but wont be rushed this time.

Now I am intrigued, what did you do to it?
Anyway good luck with the new one, do you like the abs, I tried one with this when test riding prior to purchase but didnt opt for it.
If you fit the R&G tail tidy the main retaining bolts on the original one undo from inside the seat and will not undo from underneath, and apart from having to cut the indicator connectors off it is not difficult to fit.
First chance I get I will post a pic

Hi Limehead, I changed the indicators to LED, but this meant that I had to fit inline resisters. So the wiring was duly changed and resisters soldered in. Then I fitted a screen, so holes were drilled. I also fitted a tail tidy. Then I fitted a micron Delta + with a high level link pipe. In fitting this I had to remove the rear pegs and also the rear indicators. I then fitted a new rear light cluster that incorperated the indicators. This worked so that the rear light is completely red, then when the indicator is applied, one half of the rear light flashes amber.
Although I never got stopped, I was informed that it would not pass an MOT.
That is why I am being careful with my mods this time round..
As far as the ABS is concerned, I love it. I believe that I am a good enough car driver to be able to brake better with out ABS but on a motorcycle ! oh no, I will take all the help I can get. Certainly a confidence booster at the very least.

I have fitted an R&G tail tidy, R&G Aero crash bungs, ERMAX Hugger, Oxford eyeshot LED mini indicators, Genuine kawasaki handlebar bridge, Beowulf Stainless steel logo radiator guard.

Im not a big fan of the bug screen tho, not really my thing, makes it less naked

For some reason I recently took a dislike to the screen I had fitted to my 07 Z750, this was the genuine kawasaki one.
Using a dremel multi tool I have cut the screen down by two and a half inches, which now looks better but has rendered it ineffective for wind blast, Oh well .
