Hi all!
This is my first post so here goes......
Nearly 2 years ago i bought a GPz1100B2 in cardboard boxes! It was stripped 8years previously then left. I've now rebuilt it all and really made up with it but now my problem is when I start it the tick over randomly rises and falls. Also when revving it the revs dont drop instantly, they seem to hang around for a sec then come down. I've tried various things to cure it but to no avail. The bike has feul injection and the last thing i've noticed is by moving the throttle position sensor the revs seemed to come down instantly but it wouldn't tick over and was smoking like mad as if the mixture was all wrong? The TPS checks out ok according to the manual so i'm starting to think its just a case of setting it up along with the tick over? Is there a method for doing this? I'm dying to get it running right so I can go for a good blast on it!!
