a friend of mine rekons that a rear shock off another kawazaki will fit my zzr600e is this true if so what one if not what would you recommend as mine is knackered ps if not will be giving him a slap!! :256

Just get yourself a new Hagon shock. That way you know it will fit and they will fit the correct spring for your weight and the use you put the bike too.
