Just a question about how it attaches...

The manual shows 4 bolts that hold it in. 2 Per side. My grab handle only has threads in the upper two positions. The holes in the lower two are too big to have been threaded for anything to go in it. Does anyone know of a pin style retainer that went in it? :chop

There is a bracket on both sides.

At the bottom of each bracket is a welded pin that locates into the bottom holes.
The bracket (and the grab rail) are bolted in place at the threaded hole by one single bolt on either side.

I was hoping to post a link to the parts diagram on the kawasaki.com website that should show the bracket, but at the time of writing the Owner Info > Parts Diagrams page appears to be down.

Damn Am I a little behind the power curve on this one... I just found it in the parts fiche a few days ago under a section I wouldn't have looked at!!
