Hi all..just purchased a new 08 ZZR1400 in midnight blue which may look great when new but christ it seems to scratch so easily...my main concern is since the bikes done a couple hundred miles i have noticed a really annoying rattling noise when driving at slow speeds between 20 and 50 mph approx and only on low engine revs, its intermitent and some times its noisier than other times.. i cant pinpoint exactly where its coming from..surely it cant be engine ( he says holding his breath).. its almost like a pinking sort of noise...it may have been there from new but only noticed it after a while.. on first service shop just said bike seems normal..(what a surprise)..i have read other forums looking for similar queries and other guys have mentioned a noise from a tipover sensor i think its called from behind the screen but i cant be sure thats where noise is coming from, it seems lower down to me but then noise does travel..i would appreciate knowing if anyone else has same bike and also has same problem...thanks for any help given.

I will be picking up my new ZZR1400 in a couple of weeks so I will let you know if I have a similar type of noise. I also will be getting the midnight blue, where are your scratches, are they on the tank or all over!! (Yikes)
