Description: no spark.

Hey all, new to this forum stuff, so bear with me. Just got my old childhood bike back in my possesion after many years...it's a 1978 KE175. the problems seems to be no spark. i dont have an old sweep meter, just a "Fluke" digital. I have done everything i can think of to find where the problem lie's, but come up empty with a spark. i have read readings at all points. do any of you have a good reading of what to look for on the "fluke"? I have checked plugs, fixed coil wire, got readings from the ignition box, I guess i would like to know, what is the process to start looking?'
Thanks!
Mike
Ok, thanks for the help, found the problem NOT to be the ignition box, so, How do you get the flywheel off? a simple wheel puller does not seem to be the answer, what is the secret?
thanks for any insite!

Spray up the flywheel with penertrating oil like Kroil or WD-40 let it soak in for a few hours and try again.
Penetrating oil or penetrating fluid is very low viscosity oil. It can be used to free rusted mechanical parts...... :cen Hope this helps. :kbv

hey wizz,
thanks for the reply, i have had 120psi on puller and still not a budge, i used wd40, and numeruse other oils... i let it set for over 48 hrs with pressure. i sent for a puller from knn, wrong thing. someone told me that if i get the factory puller, it will release a "catch" that you cant see. puzzling! i tried a low heat to try to free any lock tite someone in the past may have applied, nothing. I figured an impact would bounce it free, nope...I'm going to send for a factory tool and see.
Know anyone in the NE Oh. area that is good with Kaw's?

Funny thing about an impact wrench, the little dial on the side that regulates air...go figure, got that sucker off, got my two coils replaced and the thing runs like a million bucks! thanks for sticking in there for me! now, my origianal KE that i found and recovered has the "almost" same mileage and runs good, but when i crack the throttle WOT, she falls flat on her face. I set the carb up identical to the "new" KE (both are 1978's with around 4400 miles) and it ran worse, so i set the needle and all back to the "best" running state, are there carb rebuild kits available for these and which, while i wait for anthing there, which way would i move the float? when i roll the throttle on, seems peppy and nice, just cant get to the top end...if anyone is going to be at the vintage bike week at Mid-ohio, let me know if i could bend and ear!
Thanks
Mike

Timing or blocked exhaust maybe?
The blocked exhaust is favorite on two strokes (i've had a few lol)
