hi fellas

had her up to 105 mph :D so far!!

probs a silly question, but does it damage the bike changing up without using the clutch? u know, just using ur foot quikshifter style?

Hi, my understanding on this is that its ok to change up without using the clutch, as long as you throttle off . timing is crucial.
However to change down you must use the clutch and best to blip the throttle while doing so.
Then again why would you want to ignore the clutch unless your a racer or track day hero.
Best to just ride like you love it as gearbox rebuilds are notoriously expensive.

:kawas I'm like you sometimes I like to see if I can make a smooth gearchange up without clutch. Most of the time it's ok but not always, like Limehead says it can be very costly for a rebuild though. Happy riding Chris :kawa

watch your speed, you may end up giving us bikers a bad name, and not setting a good example really doing that speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!! set good examples for up-coming bikers, nice bike mind.......
