hi there new member here Bit of a prob with my z the main fuse is heating up but not blowing its corect amp and conections are tight Anyone come across this before

Hi mate had a similiar prob on my 78 Z1000A2 but it was blowing the fuse
the prob was the highbeam switch wire had chaffed through and was touching the
handlebars dont know if this any help to you.

hi mate i had a z650 that was blowing fuses and it was a wire in one of the switches touching the handlebar as mike says you would be better checking there first or go round the harness to see if there is any wires uncovered or touching metal :kawa
