hi tomhell here a newbe. I have a er-5 just wondering if anybody knows about a problem I have. there seems to be a buildup of gunk in the oill compartment the oill spection glass gets all gunk up I have cleaned it off once but it has come back can anybody help to diagnose the problem thanks tomhell :wacko:

Is this gunk a milky colour? If it is then the oil has moisture in it,usually caused by the bike parked outside or short runs where the oil doesn't get chance to reach high temperatures.
Take it for a long run,enough for the moisture to evaporate.If the milkiness persists,change the oil and filter.
