Can anyone tell me if it's possible to restrict a 1978 KZ650 to 33hp?

I'm glad you asked that question as I'm probably gonna need to do that to the Z650 i'm restoring as well.. I passed my 125cc test just over a month ago and am having to ride a restricted bike for 2 years.. My baby blade goes in to be restricted this afternoon.. will be able to ride her at last :sqj
I will ask at my bike shop this afternoon, if I remember, and will post on here later once I find something out..

Good news.. restrictor kits are available for Z650's... I would check with your local garage and see if they can do it and how much it will be.. Its costing £200 to do my blade!!!! Thats for the restrictor kit, fitting it and supplying the all important certificate..
