guys iv recently passed my test and have bought a new zx6r. i want to be able to ride it properly does anyone know if there are riding schools in the west of scotland that do track trainig days.

Not sure if they run them up in Scotland but MCN have been doing some rider training, I think it was about £200 for a session. You should probably find some more information on their website.

There's also the THINK! motorcyle campaign who attend most BSB rounds and have a link on their website. They offer ride-outs and advise from professional riders/instructors.

Personally when I passed my test I started gaining experience and confidence by riding some roads I knew from driving my car. Try going to some bike meets in your area and talking to some bikers there, you can usually pic up some good advice or maybe have a ride out but don't over step your skills. If it doesn't feel safe or comfortable then slow down!

a track aint a good place for a novice! start slow on the road first mate. :256

:kawa hi I also attened the bikesafe course run by the met I would reckamend this to all riders new & old. stay away from track days untill you fill safe & confedent with your bike , repairs hurt you & your bank account be safe.
