I have an early KLE 500 (1991) that needs a new seat, I have seen one on eBay but it says it is for a later model. Question: does anyone know if it will still fit or has the design been altered?

Well as for your seat i'd say the deisgn has changed much but the size may have alterd depending on how recent the seat model is.

Your best thing to do is find a local dealer and ask him to sort it out.
