Randy de Puniet punted off on one of the first corners by Rossi, and Shinya Nakano
taking a ride thru, looks like a bad race for the team

dogdragon - May 21, 2006 12:51 PM (GMT)
Shinya Nakano ends up in 12th, looks like Rossi a bit of poetic justice as his M1 yammie had a problem and didn't finish the race.
Could have been worse.

woodz - May 21, 2006 05:28 PM (GMT)

ZXuser - May 23, 2006 07:50 PM (GMT)
Yes I agree, I know they are not the biggest bike company and I don't mean to be cynical but they seem to eat tyres in wsb and don't seem to keep the pace in moto GP..... but I'm all for them....

dogdragon - June 18, 2006 12:21 PM (GMT)
First corner, six riders go down, including de Puniet who got a face of Ducati.
Sete's bike clashed with his team mate and hit caused Setes front brake grab and set his Duke flying like it had just been set off by trabuchet. The race was red flagged
At least Shinya was in second at the time so he wasn't involved
De Puniet was be able to restart The re start went badly, Shinyas bike overheated and he went to change machines, as he did it, was supposed to restart at the back of the grid, but he took his origional place in 5th, so he got a ride through. He missed the 3 lap warning and got black flagged, and just to make things worse, de Puniet, crashed.
:gzs

woodz - June 23, 2006 11:52 PM (GMT)

Yeah the Dutch TT (Tourist Trophy) was cool, Shinya san had luck on his side today, he was 3rd for most of the race untill the second but last corner on the last lap when Edwards fell off.

Whatched qualifying yesterday on the Tv and Nakano was going really well was on top spot for most of the time but ended up 0n the front row anyways. Front row is Hayden - nakano then Rossi.
Chris vermulen said in interveiw that hte Suz spins up so much that the qualifying tyres only lasted 3 corners!!!! Bugger. So they had to qualify on race rubber.
