Title: Trying to find
Description: The biker that stopped for me.

maxticate - January 31, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
Hi

Just before christmas I had my foot broken by a twat in a BMW who pulled out without looking while I was filtering. As it was on the M25 (even though traffic was practically stationary) I didn't manage to get any witnesses names or addresses. Luckily I didn't go down but the bastard didn't stop and the only reason I have managed to get things as far as they have with regards to a claim is because I persued him as he slowly progressed in traffic and managed to remember his reg number.

However he has claimed that I lost control of the bike, hit him and then fled the scene. Without witnesses I have been advised that in all likelihood the best that can happen is that this will go 50/50.

A biker stopped for me while I was sat on the hard shoulder trying to get recovered. If I can get in touch with him then I can prove that I didn't leave the scene and it gives me a much stronger case.

This is a last ditch attempt to locate that biker.

I was sitting with my left leg upon the barrier of the hard shoulder just before junction 21a M25 anticlockwise (A404) turn off when you stopped for me The time was about 5:50pm. My bike was a black ER6n with a tail pack attached , it had hazards going. You asked me if there was anything you could do and I said that A BMW driver had broken my foot and I was trying to get recovered.

If this rings a bell with anyone could they please get in touch. Even if you could ask a couple of mates who may commute the M25 I would be extremely grateful for any help.

Thanks

Max
