Hi Everyone and Happy New Year!

I was wondering if there is anybody interested in possible rideouts or meetings in the Derby area?

My partner and I run a pub in Shardlow, about 6 miles from Derby.
I have just started riding again after a 2 year break but it would be good to get out and about with other riders.

We have a large car park at the rear of the pub which would be ideal for gathering in after a trip out, and I daresay we could organize tea, coffee and bacon butties for anyone attending!

I would like to do some rides for charity, probably children's charities as my partner is expecting our first baby in June :wow1

Anyway, if anyone's interested or knows of anything else going on locally, give me a shout!

Blimey I'd have thought the merest whiff of a bacon buttie would have netted you some replies :P . me and partner live in manchester and i'm a new rider so havn't been further than Wales yet, hoping to get down to donnington a few times this year weather permitting, what's the name of the Pub , in case Bikefest in june gets rained on.

im sure, with the right organised trip, us from the wigan area could arrange a ride down n meet up, go 4 a stoll about n then a bbq at yur pub sounds good to me,

The pub is the Old Crown Inn, Cavendish Bridge, Shardlow. We're less than 10 minutes from Donington race track.

Hopefully our guest rooms will be up and running by the summertime so if anyone wants cheap B+B over race weekends etc I'm sure we can sort it!
