Hi there.
You need to check the size of your bars.
Measure the outside of your bars, they should be 7/8"(22mm) or 1"(25mm).
You may need to remove the bar ends if using a tape or rule/ruler
When you fit them, there is a plug that fits inside of your bars and expands to grip the inside wall.
Hope this helps :423

Hi, the size you want is the internal diameter of the handlebars. However, if you remove the stock bar ends, is there a captive nut welded into the end of the bars? If so you may have to think about either changing your bars to standard hollow ones (I run drag bars and 14mm Oberon mirrors on my ER6n) or drilling out the mirrors to accept the larger stock bolt.
Hope that helps,
Dave

Hi, I recently fitted a bar end mirror bought from ebay, which fits using the original bar end onto my 07 Z750. This needed a longer bolt only.
The main problem was once the original mirrors were removed was finding a suitable bolt to hold the brake fluid reservoir on.
You may also find as I did that you need an impact driver to remove the bar end bolt
I hope this is some help.

thanks for that.
dave, where did you get your drag bars from?
i have already managed to get the bar ends off with an impact driver which took some doing!!
i need new bars now as mine are bent as my bike has been 'blown over' now, twice in 2 weeks!

That sucks about your bike! Glad I've got use of a garage now!! I got my bars from
Moto Velo for £14.99. Have been very happy with them and for the money you can't go wrong!
They also have renthal-alikes on there which I used to have on my old TDR 125.

Be warned, the bar end weights are virtually impossible to get off without cutting them or drilling out the end of the bolt. They are locktited in and there is no way that you can get enough torque with a normal cross-head driver. Just fitted some heated grips and I had to saw into the end of the weights and through the bolt. If you do it neatly enough, you can fill, file and resparay the weights, which takes a while. Works out much cheaper than buying to oem fit ones though. I just put them back on and wrapped em up tight in black electrical tape - looks alright for now. Will buy some new ones from the Kwak dealer in Bristol when I get the chance.
Those bar-end mirrors are nice looking, but is it really worth replacing the bars just for that? You'll be making the bars a lot wider too, which will be a pain in the ass when filtering.......from experience mate, just leave the weights where they are and have a look for some nice replacement mirrors that go in the normal place :)

i got my bar ends off using an impact driver, it took some doing but managed it after about half an hour of hammering!
i have got some bar end mirrors and fitted them on my new gold renthal bars along with the heated grips off the other bars.
obzy if you need the bar ends you can have them. they would look fine after a quick lick of paint!
