I just bought a 1997 Vulcan 500. As an extra the guy threw in two short exhaust/mufflers. the sticker states that it is not to be used on pre 1983 bikes. Is this a federal noise regulation or the lack of a baffled exhaust would cause engine damage? Anyone have any knowledge on this tankrider001
