just wondering, last october i went down behind a car that slamed on their brakes at an intersection the bike slid on left side, my question which would be cheaper, to repaint the bike or to replace the left side plastics. the only other thing it damaged was the left side bar end and the stator cover none of which i have had the time or money to replace. I was just wondering what ya'lls thoughts on this are or if you know any web sites to order kawa plawstics cheap some input would be greatly appreciated :D
:fdq hello any one have a responce (whistle)...... :991
:599 Sorry to hear about your fall.
It depends on the cost of repair and painting verses replacement costs. Plastic body work is very expensive. I would estimate new side fairing in the $500 to $1500 range. Maybe more.
On the other hand I had all the body work on my wifes '99 Ninja 500R painted and it only cost $1800 along with some minor body crack repairs. We had the red bike repainted yellow. It looks great.
Good Luck.
