Title: Gel Seat on Vulcan 2000 classic LT
Description: Any feed back on gel seat

GPS - August 18, 2007 02:15 PM (GMT)
I am looking into the gel seat from Kawasaki for the Vulcan 2000 classic LT. Anyone had anyone have any experience or feed back on it. The stock seat tends to get a liitle hard after 10 hours of the highway, so I am looking for a little more comfort.
Thanks

I agree that the stock seat is not good for the long haul. I considered a gel seat, but heard too many comments about temperature effects. I had a Mustang seat on the Volusia I traded in on the Vulcan and liked is a lot. So I now have one on the Vulcan. The backrest is a nice feature on the Mustang. Another thing you might consider is Spencers Motorcycle Seats. I saw this in the new (October) issue of Rider magazine. This fellow is supposed to perform wonders on your stock seat. And at $50 for a solo and $70 for a two piece it might be worth a call or check the website to get the details. phone is 772-418-9712 and www.greatdaytoride.com good luck

Check out Airhawk for some real good seat cushions for the long haul.
