Been a while since I have been here... Almost lost complete interest in the bike. I tried to get it titled here in KY and found out that the title I was given by the guy I bought it from doesn't match the VIN on the bike. Clerks office said go fix it! The original title is in Massachusetts and I can't get hold of the original owner or the guy that I bought it from from E-bay! Gonna have to go with a lost title application. Hopefully that works cause I really would like to ride her again. Senseless to have a bike you can't ride!

Hope all is well with you guys and your rides! I wil definately be checking in more often now... Work permitting... Trying to get a promotion so I am jockeying for the position a drug addict is in... given the guy too many chances and it is just a matter of time before he comes to work totally blasted again! Wish me luck! It would double my pay in an instant!

Fingers crossed for you in all respects (job and bike!) I can't imagine not being able to jump on the bike should the fancy take me!

Thanks! It is one of the things that pains me every time I go into my garage. I see her just sitting there and not being ridden. It hurts. Spent money I didn't really have to get back on one and she was perfect for me in all respects! Soon enough though. I believe it.

good to hear from you again OG it doesn't sound like it's been stolen, i'm sure mr policeman would have been in touch by now if it was. good luck with the job i never wish ill upon another person but if he buggers up again he only has himself to blame.

Higgsy, I have one word for you... Karma. It will come back around on him. I really believe that. The Lord doesn't let things go unanswered. I know. He tells me everytime I mess up! But I don't do it intentionally.

That was a concern of mine, whether or not it was stolen. Yeah I am sure I would have heard by now. It's been over a year. Now from all the sitting I have a lot of work to do to her. That's ok though. I will get it figured out and be riding by next summer at latest.

Thanks Wizz! Looks like I may end up tearing her down this summer instead of waiting till the winter. All depends on Massachusetts now the letter will go off Wed.

At least if I do that it gives me all kinds of time to completely go through her and fix all her issues and get a fresh coat of paint. Might go from original red to UK Blue... That would be University of Kentucky... :D Not sure what to do there yet... Forks need repacking and that klunk in the case somewhere along with the electrical gremlin that has taken up residence... Would still like to get in one more ride before she goes under the proverbial knife...

Well Mass called me yesterday and said they are going to send the guy a contact letter to have him contact the title supervisor and get this fixed!

I should have some resolution in the next month! At least maybe a couple of weeks of riding and into the early fall!! Woo Hoo!!!

Still fighting with this! It's as bad as trying to get the government to do something that would actually help!!

The guy won't contact me or the MVA. Getting kinda torqued here!!! Not giving up though... may end up doing just that (getting a new frame) and seeing what that will do! Summer is almost over here and the riding days are getting numbered. I also have 3 cars in my stable that are really needing attention. They are the wifes, kids and my other daily driver! Damn it doesn't seem to end!!
