Has any body out there got experience of riding the 03/05 10R and the new 06/07 model, id be interested in any differences or improvements made over the period. I have the newer model and really love it and cant quite believe the amazing power these litre machines have plus the enormous :D factor.

But when reading reviews etc the older model seems to get a great write up. The other thing i dont really understand is bearing in mind how quick the Kwaka is how come it seems to lag behind at the WSB and BSB much to the joy of my Yamahahaha loving mates.

Any ideas guys?

I've got idea on how.... I look at the R1, and it seems to be lighter, I know when I put my old RX1000(ZX10a) next to one.
annoying sometimes isn't it??
I've not tried any of the later ZX10's to how much lighter than they are mine.

I test rode the 07 ZX10R a couple of months back. But I have never ridden the 05 model.
