hi guys, running in my new er6f, its agreat bike and i love it but find the seat makes the old cheeks ache after even a short ride. any one know where i can get a gel one or something similar to ease my pain! :o

Kawasaki do a higher seat option, which is more comfortable. It raises the seat height by about 30mm and is not cheap. It does, however, do the trick.

Have you thought of trying padded bike shorts under your gear? I read about someone else doing that to get through their lessons as the school bikes were hard on the rear.

Haven't tried it myself, but it sounds plausible.

Had 8 hours in the saddle today. Was doing pretty well until hour 7, then the pain kicked in. Of course, that could be just because I get tense riding against the wind, and it was howling the whole way.

Got to get a windscreen.
