just a brief outline on myself. Iam from Northamptonshire but now live in SE London, 37 had loads of bikes since I was 16. Currently I have a 2004 zx636 b1h which I brought 1 year ago after selling my rsv1000mille and I think its a better all round bike. I go to most British Moto gps, Iam in the army and I appolergize now for my spelling.

Ditchpump here. Proud new owner of a 1996 VN1500D1 classic.
Fell in love with the bike, first time I saw it.
I tried to download the manual for it from the linked site, but I could not open the file, any one else had the same type of problem?
It maybe a winzip file do you have winzip

It was not a zipped file, I will try downloading again, probably will need to get the programme off the net for opening the file.
My home and work Pc's have microsoft works only.
Any one out there know how to remove the rear wheel from a 1996 VN1500D1? as I want to get white walls on the bike
